R1 - Extremely Sporty

The R1 Power Sport is the helmet for the consummate rider. the R1's high-performance aerodynamics mean its excellent driving characteristics and low lateral drag stay with you even at extremely high speeds.

Its special multi-fibre Duroplast matrix with added carbon gives the helmet extraordinary strength with a low weight.

The helmet shell made from P.O.W.E.R-fibre is available in two outer shell sizes. The EPS liner's complex multi-layered foam design ensures optimal shock absorbance.

High performance aerodynamics
The R1 is the power package for ambitious sport riders. Even at the very highest speeds and on the race track the R1 impresses with its high performance features.

• no upward lift even at the speeds above 200 km/h

Aeroacoustics of the R1
All Schuberth motorcyle and racing helmets are developed and optimised under scientific conditions in the SCHUBERTH wind tunnel.

Integrated sun visor
The sun visor enables individual & quick adjustment according to lighting conditions. Its integrated within the helmet and can be moved up & down

The sun visor can be driven:

• with pilot look (included as standard)
• with a straight bottom edge

Ventilation system
The R1 has an innovative and highly effective ventilation system, which fulfills all the expectations of sporting riding.

• special active netting material inserted in the neck pad
• the innovative padding system ensures optimized airflow inside the helmet.

Summer and winter
The positioning of the head pads can be adjusted, enabling fast and easy adaptation of in-helmet  head ventilation according to:

• weather conditions
• personal preferences

 A.R.O.S = Anti-Roll-Off-System
The Anti-Roll-Off-System especially developed by SCHUBERTH is provided as a safety feature in every SCHUBERTH motorcyle hemet. It ensures that provided the chinstrap is closed and correctly adjusted:

• the hemet cannot pivot off the head from behind
• the risk of contact between the chin section of the helmet and the chin or neck of the rider is minimised due to small angle of tilt
• the consequences of the helmet coming into contact with the chest as the result of an accident are reduced.
